This custom wood radius counter cabinet was made for Heidi’s Sandwich Board, located in Historic downtown Snohomish. It became a feature and the first thing customers look at when they are waiting to be seated. It was made in Westbrook’s Wood Shop to the customer’s exact footprint and height expectations. The underside of the cabinet was made out of a stud framing onto an upper and lower plate custom cut to the radius they wanted. The visual side, skinned with beadboard, and finally a custom-made vertical grain fir wood top. Then, it was all sanded smooth. This became a great prep for a stained finish that visually matches the antique atmosphere of the restaurant. It was also a good fit for the period historic millwork Westbrook is known for producing.
