This simple but classic Everett Historic home had a unique siding which I had never done before on another historic homes Essentially, the siding is a tongue and groove fir flooring that is planed down in such a way, to appear as a bevel lap siding. It’s not. It’s nailed directly to the studs in a traditional way. Over the years, with expansion and contraction, some of the siding needed replacement and we were the best fit to mill the stock and install the material properly. Also what was interesting about this project, was the opportunity to again work with a film crew and show how the shop and field was done.
