Custom Made traditional wood screen door for a historic home by Westbrook in our Snohomish wood shop, and installed at our clients vintage home in Seattle. Traditional bronze screen, ball top brass hinges, brass ball catch and handles. The door was made from select vertical grain fir, and joinery is glued and doweled. Once sanded the screen molding was cut and fitted. The door and molding was pre primed with oil base primer. Then the screen installed with staples and edges covered with screen mold. Transported to the field the door hinges were mounted into the door trim and morticed into the door sides. the rest of the hardware expertly measured and installed for the final look.
