This historic home front porch project was another fun one to do because it had all the carpentry components. Demolition, roof framing, interior and exterior millwork, and front door installation. The original porch roof was flat with a railing above and with the other details, it had a roman inspired front. We removed the flat roof and built a new sloped roof with the millwork taken from the details at the existing gable ends. Even the brick mold around the vent I built, to match the exterior window trim.

I know there isn’t any final “clean” pictures, right now, but the real magic happens between the before and after pictures!
